It is the older version dating to the 1930's. The design features a bridge, birds and Tower in the background. It has a pretty floral, Gadroon shaped border. The Tower pattern is Iconic. It was first introduced by Spode in 1814 and was derived from a printed illustration in the book 'Views of Rome and its Vicinity' published around 1796 98.
