Georgian Hand & Snake Chain Necklace WW1 The scenes in this micro-photographDATE: Georgian, c. 1810 A striking Georgian necklace comprising a snake link chain and superb hand clasp. The clasp is modelled as a hand clutching a knotted serpent and wearing a ruby ring on one finger, at the cuff is an applied turquoise set crescent and foliate motif; the whole clasp, hand and snake, are wonderfully textured. Modelled in 15 karat gold throughout, the piece dates from the early 19th century circa 1810 and the chain gets gradually
